At Roberts Manufacturing Company Limited (RMCO), food safety isn’t just a policy – it’s at the heart of everything we do. In celebration of World Food Safety Day (June 7), we proudly supported this year’s theme: “Science in Action” – a reminder of the vital role research and science play in keeping food safe for everyone.

Every day, RMCO applies science-backed strategies to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in the products we manufacture. Scientific data and research form the backbone of our processes – from monitoring controls to guiding our manufacturing practices and ensuring we meet both customer expectations and global regulatory standards.

Our team is continually working behind the scenes to strengthen food safety controls, including:

✅ Launching our annual food safety training refreshers for all employees.
✅ Reviewing and optimising processes and cleaning programmes across all departments.
✅ Exploring advanced safety technologies, such as the introduction of metal detectors in our Feed Plant.

But it’s not all technical! To raise awareness and celebrate our team’s dedication, we hosted an in-house observance featuring WFSD-themed cupcakes, trivia quizzes, giveaways, and photo ops with our WFSD board.

Because at RMCO, food safety isn’t just about meeting standards – it’s about safeguarding the future.
